Zuni, can you add another button up there by the symbol-buttons?

Can you add a button that allows you to select a smilie and then it inserts it in the message body? There's so many of them now I can't remember what the commands are. That would be really helpful...

The problem is space.. at 800x600 we are getting cramped for space but we will give it some thought.

Hold on, it's not working? Don't we need to actually be able to insert the emotion once we've selected it from the drop down menu? I don't see a way to do that (I presumed it would be simply clicking on the 'Emotion' button)

It's on onChange event so once you select the option and let go it will work. Works fine in ie4 and ns4 +

Nope, I can't get it to Work in IE5.5 or Netscape 4.5 :(

I'm typing here, then go to select an emotion 'cool', from the drag down menu. 'Cool' is then highlighted, but nothing comes up. In order to continue typing the message, I need to go back to the main body but still no emotion appears. What am I moronically doing wrong?!? :)

Ok, I'm now noticing that when I load up the reply page, in the lower left of IE5.5 (just above the start button), it says 'Done', like it should do. However, as soon as I try to let rip with the Emotion selection thing, it's got the little error icon, and instead of saying 'done' it's saying 'error on page' hmmm.

I like it Zuni! :D

One request though...to avoid errors it might be better to make you choose the emoticon you want and then actually CLICK something to insert it...maybe the word "Emoticon"?

No, the errors are probably because your browser cached the javascript. Clear your cache.

I tested the script on NS4,IE5,IE 5.5 and not a single issue. I can't help your caching.

Lol, I still can't get it to work. Cleared my cache (using the 'disk cleanup' thingy)...but nope. Oh well, maybe it's for the best ;)

You clear cache from within IE. You have some nasty browser issues thats for sure :). Others are using it fine.
