Zuni, an idea to help reduce private message storage needs

When reading a private message, is it possible to have a box to check to not save that message after reading it? There is a box like that in the box when you send a message, but not when you read a message sent to you. By giving people an option to delete a message when they first read it, a large amount of 'non-important' messages can be removed from the server saving storage space.
