1) is there a specific reason why the search form uses POST instead of GET? If it was get, people could use URL links to searches, or save the searches as a favorite in IE, etc

2) also on the search page, can you have it default to select all forums? I usually search by all forums, not sure if everyone does, just an idea.

I do not agree with this one. I think it should be customizable instead based on the persons liking instead of forcing 'all' the everyone.

Actually, on the 2nd issue, I usually choose not to select all of the forums for searching just because the number of hits is fairly large; let's face it.. very few of us actually go to EVERY forum available here, so selecting just the ones needed is probably more popular anyway.

I agree, I'd actually prefer a default of "none". To take that a step further, the search button wouldn't be enabled unless one or more forums were checked.
