So I'm pretty sure I copied absolutely everything from this 30 gb zune, which totals about 5GB.

The zune thinks it's full though, and I'm pretty sure a lot of it's capacity is in some dumbass category titled "space for other computers" or something.

Any idea how to fix that?

LOL. When a device says its full, it probably means it.

I mean really, when your car runs out of gas, it's not kidding. Regardless if you are convinced or not.

If you go to the device status screen it should tell you how much music, video and reserved space is on there. There's also a setting to keep some space on the device reserved for swapping songs with others.

That's why you kick your car and reinstall the software when this happens. Much like you do with the Zune. Then you pray it starts up because you KNOW it has enough gas. ;)

That "space for other computers" is content transferred to the device from other computers than the one it's currently plugged into...if said content isn't showing up under device section when you plug it in, wipe it and start over.
