This or sansa connect (29.99 at ecost) ? both are 4GB, but sansa has SD slot, but Zune seems to have better battery life.

Zune, any day. However, if that Sansa was a Fuse or View... that would be something to think about.

Refurbished 8GB Views are running $70-$75. I figure that by the end of the summer they will be cheap enough to consider replacing my e250.

yeah, I was gonna jump on the zune a month ago, but the i realized that my pos iriver h10 has 6GB. It would be kind of dumb to go downwards in space (4GB). I must wait and deal with the pain that is river h10....that is if i can find it. I have no idea where i put it...and really...I do not care if someone stole it or I lost it. That is how much i hate that thing.
