Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.
 
I was thinking more of..

If you can get a combo by switching the ball on the top of the frog's head, then go for it instead of wasting a simple 3 hit shot.

That and the explosion balls are a good way to clear out the play field and give yourself some extra time before the balls start to move again.
