We had neighbors in CA whose daughter's name was Alexa. She had to have been born in the 80s or early 90s. Haven't seen her or them in over 12 years...long before Amazon's Alexa became a thing.

NGL if I was in that situation I would just embrace it, there's really not much you can do but have fun and laugh about it. As a side note imagine being named Alexa in a household that also has an Alexa. "Alexa can you take the garbage out?" "I'm sorry, I cannot do that" "No not you, the human!".

There was a time we had an Alexa in most of our common rooms, including the kitchen. We have a niece named Alexa and during holidays when family was over, it was funny for about 10 minutes, then got annoying. I unplugged pretty much all of them.
