Looks like a hell of a deal for $500

Might be my first 820 processor phone, I'll wait for it to show up used on Swappa.

Looks promising. If the price is sub $500 and the device is rootable (my Axon A1 sadly isn't yet) I'd definitely consider getting one.

Their Axon line has gotten to be very HTC-like, but they need to have a better commitment to updates and/or unlocked bootloader for me to consider upgrading.

So long as it gets "N" that's enough updating for me. If it gets updates beyond that it might be the first phone I keep longer than a year. But if not, not a big deal.

It looks good to me also even though I don't like gold finish phones much. It would be nice to see the gray colored version.

This is an example of a beautiful phone went wrong.
The 2 top and bottom black bars ruined the phone.
If only the screen covers the entire glass area, it would have had a great body/screen ratio.
