Being just a lowbie desktop grunt at work, I'm going around and running Windows Update on a bunch of PCs that are not leveled on updates/service packs. The admins are not running SMS.

Is there a way to do a single shot update of everything or am I doomed with a long day?

 
download the patch and create a batch file. Copy the batch file to the startup folder (or use GPO) and reboot all boxes (or just run the script)
