Zotac ZBOX EN760-U

Hey guys, I would like some feedback if this little mini gaming pc will work with a 4K monitor like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0JC-0007-00009

Thanks for any feed back.

It will work using the HDMI out, but only at 30Hz, since it's a 1.4 port.

I've looked at the same box, but for the same price you can buy a complete system with a Desktop Core i3, GTX 860m, 8GB of memory, 1 TB HDD, and have the ability to upgrade the CPU down the road.

Very true, and that was my original plan was to build everything myself, plus the ability to upgrade down the road.

However, the end user wants the PC case to be hidden. something that I can hide behind the monitor.

So finding a case small enough to hide behind the monitor and being able to have options like dedicated video card for future upgrade is hard to come by.

Take a look at this video here -

Also, the Alpha is about the same size as the Zotac box. All you would need is a VESA mount for thin clients.

Your question is if it will work. The answer is yes.
If the question is if it will work WELL for anything more than basic desktop programs/web browsing, the answer is probably not.
