Hey everyone,

Microcenter had the said card for 379 after rebate and I was able to use a 20% coupon as well. Also got a free copy of Arkham City. I think I got a great deal, seeing as this card goes for way more online.

Here will be the new system, currently awaiting production. parts are sitting on my floor

i7 2600k $279 at microcenter
Asus P8Z68-vPro $129- got 80$ off for getting the i7
Crucial m4 128 -$179 shipped amazon
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 - $85 dollar shell shocker few weeks back
Antec HCP-850
Antec 300
Zotac GTX580 AMP

Anyone have experience with this card? Is Zotac a good company? Any recommendations for OC speeds?

I will probably be playing Battlefield 3, but really am psyched for D3 and Star Wars.

I got in on the same deal about month ago and got the card for around $340 including tax.

No issues and plays great with the beta drivers for BF3.

I haven't tried to overclock it all.

I have the i5 2500k, same mobo, same ssd and same ram.

Wait a second. If you're going to tempt us like this at least offer to pick up one for the rest of us. :) We don't all live next to a MC. I'd be all over a pair of 580's for $700.

I bought the Zotac 580 card last week. Its the non-Amp version, but for my needs its far above what I was planning on buying. Third video card in a row that I paid $400 for, so I guess I should forget about getting a mid range card and just buy one that lasts me 3 years.

Sounds like you put together, piece by piece, a nice rig for good prices all around.
