Thanks. Do you know anything about Zotac? I've seen claims that they tend to be loud. The same was true for the Palit 460 that someone linked here yesterday.

I do need a new vid card, the 8800gts is getting creaky.

The Zotac is worst at idle, but looks ok under load. Still, I think I'm going to wait a bit longer for more price adjustments.

Agreed...first was the Amazon Asus deal, quickly followed by this and the Palit for < $210. I have a feeling this will be the midpoint regular price very soon...back to school is right around the corner.

I was not happy with Zotac's warranty service. They are based in California (at least their service center address is), however it took them a whole month to process my RMA. I live in California too, so they got my motherboard within a day...

Intel has always done RMAs within a week, and the same goes for Asus.
