Pretty hot deal, I'd say. Card is mediocre. Okay for a cheap card or for HTPC (it has built-in audio for the HDMI output) but don't consider it much for gaming. It uses slow DDR2 (GT 220 can use DDR3 as well) and has a mere 48 CUDA cores. Compare that to a GTX 580 which has 512 CUDA cores! Comparing against the newer 500 series, the lowest end is a GT 520 which is faster than this card. The GT 520 has the same 48 CUDA cores, but at a much higher clock speed.
Zotac rebates might be iffy. Mine from a previous deal got to the "approved" stage and then... nothing... for a few months. I finally had to contact them and they sent me a check. IIRC they handle it internally. Ah yes, my notes state I mailed it on 5/2 and received payment on 11/10. Better late than never, I guess. :sneaky:
