Dear all,

I have the following problem that drives me crazy. My computer will randomly either recognise my GPU at startup or just disable it (as code 43) and give signal to the motherboard VGA. So if I want my GPU to work I have to restart several times until this happens! I have tried using several versions of drivers on Windows 8 64 bit but no improvement. There has also been a couple of times that I got no signal from neither outputs and just rebooted using the power button ANy ideas? Thanks in advance.

On rare occasions it can be caused by the card not being seated properly. Have you tried removing and reinstalling the card? Have you tried a complete reformat?

hi there, I had tried that but no luck. Then I put the card on a different PCI slot and it works perfectly! The Microsoft Basic Display Adapter is shown with an exclamation mark next to it now but I guess that's normal (?)

What it's extremely weird is that now the wifi network card which as on a pci express slot (and never had a problem before) is tno recognised anymore! It's not even shown in device manager. I tried to put that card now in another slot but still wasnt found.

Does ANY of this make sense? Is it a faulty motherboard?

Thanks

you might want to list your equipment, and what gpu you had before
but if it was me , I would update your mb bios or reset if new/current.
Also I guess turn off on board vid if it has one and have the mother board boot to pci-e not auto and move the other card to a pci-e x1 not the main slots.
