Zotac 9300 itx problems

Hi,

I built a pc about six months ago with the original zotac d-e version and no problems... thought I would try new improved i-e version and...

1) Can't get xorg wizard to work and only got xvesa to work once in about 15 tries in linux... puppy linux for most part.

2) Strange warning sounds... when accessing dvd drive and in a couple other instances... temps were fine... can anyone point me to solution or support for what alarm sounds on zotac products mean?
