Hi all!
I own a Zotac 580GTX reference model(http://www.zotacusa.com/geforce-gtx-580-288-1n203-000zt.html),and Im looking for a good cooler to replace the loud stock one.

I already tried AC Accelero Xtreme PLUS,but sadly,it doesn't fit on the card.

I would prefer to get an air cooler if possible, however I also heard about Zotac OMNI water cooling kit(http://www.zotacusa.com/omni-upgrade-kit-za-omni.html).

Any suggestions, are there any air coolers that would fit on the card?
Also any feedback about that water cooling kit would be appreciated...

Did you get the right mounting bracket for the accellero?
Yeah,I did, everything was in order, the cooler and the bracket. It simply doesn't fit on the card,I also had it checked in the store, they said it won't go on that Zotac card...

If that is loud to you i don't think a replacement would be better. They are quiet to me. You sure you don't have fans maxed out?

I got 2 in SLI to. :)

Tough call, I'd look up that card on Google and see what other people are doing. Zalman VF3000F is supposed to fit 580's but if the Accellero didn't fit there's a chance the VF3000 won't either being that its made to fit a 480, it just so happens to fit a reference 580 as well.

You can mod the stock accelero plus to work on the Zotac 580. It depends if you are confident enough to do it, but it is easy. Simply screw off the Accelero mounting bracket and line it up to the holes on the 580 [mark each hole with a marker dot] and drill the 4 holes for it to fit. Also you dont need to remove the Zotac 580's memory and vrm cooling plate for it to fit either. You can mount the Accelero while only removing the 580's shroud and heatsink phase cooling block. That was a huge plus for me since I bought only a stock Accelero plus which lacked the memory and vrm cooling heatsinks.

Thanks for the advice, very interesting, but I never did that before, and I don't think my 580GTX would make a good "test subject".It costed me a lot,and I wouldn't want to void the warranty,or permanently damage it somehow...

But if we were talking about some cheaper GPU,I would gladly try that out...

Think my best bet here is to see if Zalman will work...
