zoom in on win 7's xp mode?

I'm currently trying to help update a company that is stuck with all their business functions written in an ancient custom program written in foxpro.

Long story short:
- desktops with xp are running at 800x600 resolution to allow the foxpro app to be large enough to read
- under Windows 7, the foxpro app runs but displays text in an even smaller font size
- under xp mode in windows 7, the app & fonts run normal size, but still far too small when resolution is set to the lcd's native resolution.

I was searching around google & didn't find any options, any way to enlarge that xp mode window and break away from 1 pixel on the desktop equaling one pixel on the monitor?

The only other option I see is running the new monitors which are capable of 1920x1080, at 1280x720, which I prefer not to do.

Thanks

Increase the font size in the VM window (right-click the desktop, choose Properties, go to the Appearance tab, then change the Font Size setting), or reduce the display resolution in that VM window. Either one will make the text bigger on the screen.

Thanks, though the system font size increases the font-size of the app's menu navigation system, the main section of the app remains unaffected. And reducing the display resolution in the xp mode window also shrinks the vm window, retailing the 1-1 pixel mapping.
