I'm going to probably send my cheap $150 dolar laptop I bought on ebay to sony tomorrow. I'll post when I get my $600 check. Btw doing the math for my instance. 1600 laptop -600 corp discount +150 cheap laptop -600 sony check = $550 for my BX560. How do you like them apples?

Btw... Upgrading the ram is very easy if you are thinking about it. Upgraded to some OCZ ram from newegg. Now I have 1.5gb ram instead of 512mb

The battery life is pretty bad imo, i get about 2 horus regular use. I did get teh spare one too

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have inconsistent backlight on the widescreen? The are right by the bottom edge of the screen has a lot more backlight

it's pretty much so long as the laptop powers up.

i sent in a old p3-1ghz dell that had a dead lcd backlight. i emailed ahead of time and they said it was fine. i also received confirmation 2 days ago that my rebate was processed for the full $500 amount.
