I just checked the Zones site. They have 21 different Sony VGN-BX models in stock. I've had direct links to their site break in the past so here's the path to the listing. Just click on Brands, Sony, Notebooks, then Vaio Professional, and then "Show me More". You can then refine the list to just the in stock items.

just got mine today.....triple booting winxp, winvista rc1, and osx.....all in all nice lappy, + it has a sony/ericcosn cingular sim card modem.....interesting////
Ordered 2 Friday and they are at my house now (tuesday). Pretty quick shipping since Monday was a holiday. Going to drive up to my sisters house and get 2 more sonys. 1 is not working, but i fixed it before so I'm going to try again. Then hopefully I can order 2 more next week. Pretty sweet deal. My family have like 4 of them becuase my job got got like 20 and 14 died in under 9 months. So even when they was fixed by Sony the exec didnt want them back, so I grapped 4 of them cheap very. Still not huge fan of Sony but thier small laptops are nice for the price. And when you can get a brand new laptop for $200 you jump even if its a Sony. One thing I can say is Sony are easy to take apart.
I went with the same one. Should be here on friday. I think i missed out on the free battery deal though. Bummer.
I got the bx560 for 1050, I was just playing counter strike source on it, runs very good, just as good as my computer here with a 7600gt I'd say. My only complaint is battery life which is understandable. I still got the free battery though.
Btw... Upgrading the ram is very easy if you are thinking about it. Upgraded to some OCZ ram from newegg. Now I have 1.5gb ram instead of 512mb

Anyone find anywhere with the cheaper laptops still in stock? Following the thread at FW and nothing really left under $1100. SOme people got in on $800 laptops with $600 back which woudl have been killer.

Would this cause any issues with two sizes of sticks in there? Is there anything lost by not having the same size for both sticks?
I just assumed that you would need to have them the same....i havent built a new rig in a while.
