I used to have my laptop hooked up to a ethernet switch which was in turn hooked up to my desktop's secondary NIC. I used that to share my internet connection, which was connected to my cable modem.
I installed ZoneAlarm recently. In the Firewall menu, under the Zones tab, I have 3 connections listed. One is called Loopback with IP 127.0.0.1, One has my internet IP address and the other has one of those local windowsXP IP addreses 192.168.x.x and I tried setting the connection with the local IP address to internet zone, and/or to trusted zone, neither worked for letting my laptop access the internet. I don't really know how to even start looking to solve this...
Any help would be apreciated thanks.
