Zonealarm won't install

I downloaded Zonealarm from download.com, and when I click on the .exe file, the command window opens up with the error message "cannot run this application in DOS mode." what's going on here? The image of the file itself looks like a small command window, and not the little computer with the disks. Am I missing the application to install .exe files??? Is this possible? WTF is wrong?

btw, it shouldn't be a little command console icon... i dunno which icon it is... but it sure shouldn't be that... it should rather be some kind of self-extracting icon (i think)
