Zonealarm Firewall disconnects me

So this is the situation. I have zonealarm firewall running as my firewall. I go to sleep with AIM on and when I wake up, it says "connection lost." I try to reconnect but it doesn't work. So then I try to go to www.yahoo.com with firefox and that doesn't work either. I close zonealarm and then try both things again and both work fine. This happens often...sometimes AIM doesn't close and only the web is inaccessible and sometimes both happen.

I have comcast and a router.

Is there any solution to this or do I have to get a new firewall? I dont want to pay for one thats why I use zonealarm.

THANKS

I tried ZoneAlarm as well, the latest version, thinking it might be better than the XP Firewall. I ran into the same problems you did. I think it is VERY buggy. I yanked ZoneAlarm, and have had no issues since.
