Hi.
I just got DSL connection and ma enjoying it.
But I have a problem. When I didn't install Zonealarm, I got "W32.Nimda.A@mm(dll) virus in" alerts from Norton AntiVirus almost every 10 minites. So I downloaded Minda removal program, but it said there is no virus found in my hard drive. So I installed ZoneAlarm free version, and from that time, I got more than 50 times blocking message from it. The message is like this:

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (HTTP) from 66.32.42.93 (TCP Port 2900) [TCP Flags: S].

Time: 9/25/01 12:08:36 AM

Time: 9/24/01 11:59:32 PM

_____ and so on...

What is this? Is this real hacking attack or not? When ZoneAlarm blocks it, the internet connection is stopping about 30 seconds, and it's really annoying.
Anybody has any idea?

Thanks

p.s. I use Earthlink DSL service.

There's nothing you can do about it really, except to tell ZA not to alert you...
It's just Nimda bouncing off your system, looking for new victims...

<< 50 in 4 hours is pretty low. Consider yourself lucky. >>

I know. I still get about a hundred per hour.
