Zone Alarm won't allow something

Zone alarm won't let me on IRC servers, even if i put the IP of the IRC server in the trusted area. I've tried everything but zone alarm just won't let me on, no matter how many different ways i allow the server. Just keeps telling me [ Blocked by Zone Labs Security ] - Any ideas? I might just axe zone alarm, even though i like it fairly well.

It's a setting under IM security it's check by default due to all the bots that people end up on their machines.

Cool, thanks. I have IM security set to off but in the advanced options it still blocks it.
