zone alarm with antivirus protection

i am using zl with virus protection seems like a winner passes all security tests and doesnt bog things down like norton
has anybody else tried this yet?

It disables NAV email scan on many systems (mine included) so I took it out and am waiting for a fixed version.

Anything is better than Norton. :) And, the latest version does outbound mail scan as well - but that's a waste of time as far as I am concerned. My first line of defense is Postini, provided by my ISP. No virus has gotten by it. Second is my own AV, and 3rd is Z/A, and then XP SP2 also kicks in. It's called "defense in depth."

ZoneAlarm Pro with the latest update (the 5.xxx.xxx) is causing many problems for people. My issue with it concerns online gaming. I've found that it adds all kinds of spikes and packet loss to my gaming, making games unplayable. Others have problems with the antivirus component and with bogging down the system in general. I reverted back to the 4.xxx latest version before this new update.
