Zone Alarm stops running on its own

I'm having a strange problem on my WinME equipped laptop. Zone Alarm (free version) apparently keeps shutting down on its own. I don't get any error messages, BSOD's, or any indication that the application is crashing. I was running 2.6.xxxx when I noticed the problem. I uninstalled it and did a clean install of the current version and the problem still exists.

Anyone seen this before?

Install something else. Zone Alarm's free version BLOWS.

Yea, I've used Zonealarm for a couple of years now and find that it is not that reliable with my WinXP.
I still run it on my Win98SE boxes, but on my WinXP rig I now run Tiny Personal Firewall and have been very pleased with that.

I actually switched to Tiny late last night because I wanted to have something running. It seems to do the trick.
