Zone Alarm conflicting with wireless

Been having a lot of problems lately with the connection on my laptop, despite the network status showing an "excellent" connection. I'm getting dial-up speeds at time and often no ability to access the internet at all. After much frustration, I realized that when I disable Zone Alarm, I have NO problems. I checked the ZA settings and can't find any obvious conflictions. Note: there are times when everything works fine, even with ZA enabled but when I'm having problems, I can instantly correct them by disabling it.

I'd like to continue using ZA if possible. And I'm on XP Pro SP1. Any help would be appreciated.

Zone Alarm, while it is a very good product for a single computer, has a long history of ?Love Hate? relation with Network functions.

Since there are many other good firewall products (free and pay base) it does not worth while to dwell on it.

Awesome suggestion Jack. Removed ZA, installed Kerio Firewall and I'm have NO problems with my connections at all. Gonna remove ZA from my host computer as well now. Thanks!!
