Zone Alarm Client hangs on shutdown

Yeah I get that dreaded message "zlclient not responding click end now to terminate etc.."

If I wait for it, it eventually shuts down, but I'm just curious why it does this. It even happens when I'm not even online anymore so there's not as much activity to monitor.
