zone alarm alerts

Hi,
i turned on the PC and left it on while i attended to other activity.
when i came back, i check my zone alarm alerts and it was showing

upload: 50+ MB and download: few hundred KB.

does this mean my pc is being hacked into and someone copying the data off the pc?
is there any way to check what have been uploaded?

I am using @home.

Thanks.

MOGeeks, do you have any file sharing programs (ie: Morpheus) running? If so, that is probably where the 50MB that was uploaded came from.

nightowl, I have nothing running, except win98 OS.
I am surprised to find 50mb of data has been uploaded and i wasn't running ftp or any internet access program.

btw, why does zone alarm block access from netbios to the router?
how can i allow netbios to pass thru zone alarm?

thanks.
