We have a proxy server with any direct connex disabled, added a filtering list that gets a lot of crap, and deny access to the usual garbage sites such as MySpace and other spyware hangouts. We read that someone had bought the domain
www.googkle.com (notice the common misspelling) which would install about 17 drive by malware apps on the PC. So far, we don't have a blocked programs list in place (IM, games) but that should be in effect once school starts up. Damn kids just don't understand the logs catch everything they view and we continue to block open proxy sites on a weekly basis.
Thanks, Senior High slackers ... without you, I wouldn't have a job !! WooHoo !!
