zomg, mirror's edge is 5$

Haha it's 3.74€ for me 😀 I got it just for the heck of it... I'll play it... eventually 😛

EDIT: *sigh* Got this Quantz too... looks like fun and was only 2€...

see, best way to avoid piracy is to sell games cheaper. not saying sell it this cheap, but cheaper than normal price.

Are you insinuating that anyone in this thread would have pirated these games if Valve hadn't offered them cheaply?

Not very nice.

steam saving my credit card information making these purchases really easy is the second worst thing to happen to my wallet.

The first is amazon 😛

More games for me, woooo!

Looking at my games list on Steam makes me worry about the future. Digital downloads is awfully convenient, no doubt. But it sucks knowing that there will be a day when either Steam closes down, or something else where I won't be able to access these purchased games. Oh well, hopefully it's looooong into the future.

I ended up getting Quantz, Mirror's Edge, Secret of Monkey Island and Evil Genius. I've played Evil Genius before, so for $2.50, I think it's worth it.

eh, played it for an hour a while back and was not amused. i'll wait for a sequel where they hopefully streamlined the mechanics somewhat.

You are 100% correct.

I love it. Last nightI bought Riddick, Monkey Island, and a Lucasarts Adventure pack because it had The Dig in it and I wanted it for posterity, so I can show my kids one day what gaming was all about, once upon a time.
