I just drove from Vancouver BC to Yakima WA...7 hours and what a mess

Yeah, Yakima is pretty dumpy.

Oh wait. You meant the weather.

How dare you insult "The Palm Springs of Washington" ;)

I don't really have to try. The fact that the downtown mall died and Union Gap mall became the happening place to shop is insult enough to Yakima. ;)

Everything stuck up here in Bham. More is on the way tonight and up to Wednesday, I believe. When it melts can anyone say more flooding?

I just moved to Federal Way last weekend from Agoura Hills, CA. Frankly, I could do without the snow, and that's coming from a native Spokanite.

I lived in Vancouver for 12 years and it's mild out there, hell ontario hasn't had snow yet :p

:| excuse me?
The nearby town of Fort Erie, Ont. has called a state of emergency, as residents find themselves without power and roads blocked by fallen trees. A leisure complex is open overnight to provide people with cots and warm meals.

"In many places the snow is almost knee-deep, and power lines are down in front of several homes," CTV's John Musselman reported from the scene.

As much as 30 centimetres of snow fell on some regions of southwestern Ontario, and almost 60 centimetres covered sections of western New York and Buffalo, making it that city's worst storm in 137 years.

Bears of Öland zoo (first island just outside the eastern coast of Sweden) haven't gone into hibernation yet, like they normally do towards the end of October..

Snow sucks. I'd rather it just rain, same thing basically without the hazards of lack of friction on roads and whatnot
