I went by where I used to work to help out the new Controller (my replacement). I was sitting in his (my) old office and noted the little cow sitting in the system tray. He's using my old notebook and they didn't wipe the drive so that client is still alive (and feeding Adul's proxy).

I got home and they had sent me a cheque. I did a day of consulting for them late last year and was paid for it. I guess they set it up as a recurring payment because they kicked out another $2,500 for me. As much as i'd love to build a crack rack with it, I'll have to call them and see it they really meant it.

No matter what, I get to keep the blocks <grin>.

The honest answer is that, no, I did not enjoy giving the $2,500 back but I did it anyway becasue I thought it was the right thing to do. I knew if I didn't call it would never be noticed. So it didn't taste good <grin>.
