I'm interested in watching some zombie movies, and I was wondering if any of you could recommend some good ones. Thanks in advance!

Dawn of the Dean, Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later, Land of the Dead. In that order.

Night of The Living Dead (original and remake)
Day Of The Dead
Dawn of the Dead (original and remake)
Land of The Dead
Shaun of The Dead
28 Days Later (technically not zombies, but close enough)
Resident Evil 1 & 2
Dellamorte Dellamore if you can find it
Any of the Return of the Living Dead movies for cheese factor
ReAnimator, if that's the one I'm thinking of

There are a ton more I'm forgetting at the moment

To Kaervak's list, I would add Lucio Fulci's Zombie. And for extreme cheesiness, Peter Jackson's Dead Alive.

Of them all, I like Dawn of the Dead (1978) and Shaun of the Dead best.

It's finally out in the US, under the US title (Cemetery Man)

> Re-Animator

Bride of the Re-Animator is also good cheese

FVCK YES.

Really enjoyed 28 Days Later and Dawn of the Dead (remake. didn't like the original much, and yes, I saw it before the remake). Undead (aussie zombie flick) was oddly amusing. Resident Evil 1 was decent, but I didn't like the 2nd at all. And of course, Night of the Living Dead for some truly classic zombie action.

BTW, that Dellamorte (?) movie is also known as Cemetary Men apparently.

house of 1000 corpses
devils rejects (ok, this one doesn't have any zombies, other than sheri moon zombie, which IS technically a zombie, sort of)

You made it though Undead? I barely got through the first 10 minutes, and after making myself get to the 25 minute mark, I gave up. A horrible, horrible movie. Bad special effects, writing, and attempts at comedy. Strangely, the lead actress seemed like she was in a completely different movie; she played in like she was in a decent zombie-horror movie while everyone else was trapped in a complete piece of garbage.

Second the Shaun and the Dawn remake. Dawn is in my top ten list. The DVD extras also has a nice fake newsreport that covers the spreading of the undead epidemic.

House of 1000 Corpses is less about zombies & more about torchuring everyday people.

DOTD, Resident Evil(s) were my fav's.
