Zoece progressive scan DVD player for $20 @ Conn's

This may be only a warm deal due to the fact that I can't find any information on "Zoece" but it may be worth the risk for only $20. I bought one today at the Conn's in Round Rock, TX (Austin). This doesn't require any rebates, $19.97 is the advertised price in their sales flyer which says prices are good through July, 25.

secondly, it's 59.99 as you can see above, so it could be extremely YMMV.

praxeum, could you somehow host a scan of that flier, cause I just called them and the nice lady said that she is looking at the same flier and it says $49.97, for me to get it for 20 bucks, i would need to e-mail them an image or fax it.
Thanks in advance.

All the cheap progressive DVD players are based on the same Crystal Logic chipset. It's not bad.

If you want to go one bettter, look for a Faroudja DCDi based player. I grabbed a Sharp DV-S2 off Ebay for $58 shipped.

Sorry it took so long. Here is a link to images from the flyer I picked up at the store today. Sorry they are so bad (no scanner at home) I had to take them with a crappy webcam.

Also in response to the HDCD comment, what I listed in my original post are the formats listed on the face of the unit itself. I do not have an HDCD so I cannot test this.

for $20, just a dvd player alone would've been a great deal. this is a progressive scan dvd player! neato!

thanks for the scans!

Did anyone call in and then email the scan of the ad to get it for $19.99? I'd be curious to do it for fun if it works.

Thanks a lot for the scans!
I will call them again tomorrow. As I said, when I called earlier the rep said that she is looking at the same flyer and it says 47.99 on the picture and since I did not have an aforementioned flyer in my hand, even though I told her I did 🙂, I could not argue all that much. Now I can!!!😀
Thanks!

I hope some of the rest of you can get the $20 deal. It's seems that it may be a regional thing (ie the ads in the Austin area say $20 and someone else referenced an ad that said $50). I went back on Sunday and picked up a second one for the kids. Good Luck.

Dang it... called and said they only do B&M suff for this player. "we dont ship orders more then 50 miles away from our stores." oh well if anyone else has any luck on this tell me.
