I havn't purchased anything for myself from ZipZoomFly since the days they were still Googlegear. I just bought a stick of Corsair RAM from them yesterday because Newegg was out of the model I already had.

As of right now, that order is still processing. Being a regular Newegg customer, I'm pretty accustomed to same-day shipping on morning orders of in-stock items. I don't know what the routine is usually with ZZF, so can anyone tell me their usual processing to shipping ETA?

It's almost always next-day shipping. They will provide you a tracking number once it ships.

I usually get same day or next day shipping out of ZZF. They used to have the free 2-day shipping which was a huge incentive, but they dropped that to free ground shipping

Yes, and that totally sucks that they changed that from 2-day to ground.

Depends on where you live. I do just as much business at ZZF as Newegg. They often have more selection. The free ground UPS suits me just fine. It is always 3rd day from California to Tucson, AZ.

ZZF is reliable and I have never had to return anything to them. They are still "Googlegear" in my Favorites list. 🙂
