You know damn well I'm talking about the reference speed, which is 430 for the present GTX. A 40 MHz increase would be reasonable to expect.

Considering this isn't a reference design we're talking here, but a full fledged vendor card, no, I DON'T know. Common sense dictates otherwise.

There are plenty of "full fledged vendor" GTX cards that are clocked at the reference speeds. There were at least half a dozen listed on Newegg last time I looked.

Apparently you also don't understand the difference between reference clock speed and vendor-specific overclocks.

M0RPH, I don't normally get into these pissing contests, but seriously, shut the hell up. It's a known fact that the core on the 512MB GTX cards is higher than any existing 256MB cards. It will not be 470.

Known fact eh? Then show us all the proof, tough guy.
Until then, STHU yourself.

Tell me something, M0RPH. Have your balls dropped yet, or are you just compensating?

Seriously, it's apparent time and again that your stances aren't legitimate, and you're simply out to argue with pretty much everyone. Will you shut up when the 512MB GTX comes out with a > 490MHz Core? How many times do you have to be proven an idiot before you shut up and/or go away?

Look at the diagram:
NVIDIA GeForce 6 & 7 Product Lineup Specifications

Product Name

GeForce 7800 GTX 24 8 256-bit GDDR3/512MB 560MHz (900) 1600 MHz

GeForce 6600 8 3 128-bit GDDR/128MB 300MHz 275(550)
GeForce 6200 4 3 64/128-bit GDDR/128MB/256MB 300MHz 275(550)

EDIT:
Fixed the format. It could be quite possible that 570 was suppose to be the core number on the evga specs. Mistakes happen.

LOL

Quoted because your name should be "The Spirit of Rollo" instead of Ronin, we think much alike. ;)

Resorting to personal insult again, eh? I'll happily shut up about this when the card comes out and we know what the actual core speeds will be. Until then, all I,m saying is that it's not a known fact until we see an offical announcement/review or we see the actual cards. Any reasonable person would agree that this is the case. The only person that has proven himself to be an idiot here is... well, you.

Btw, you should be getting your 7800GTX 512MB from Nvidia this week, right? (according to your recent post) *snicker*

Cool it.

I can't even begin to imagine just how pissed of Morph is over all this. It's like he's insane.
