ZipZoomFly has 3 of the same processors listed, which to buy?

They all have the exact same Manufacturer's product code and they're 3 different prices, they're all socket 939 chips, I bought a MSI neo4 platinum SLI board to go with it, i wanted to make sure i got the right one, i bought the one that was $267, i guess i'll try it and see how it goes.. *shrug*.

Its kind of confusing,..

Any advice on whether or not i screwed up?

Oh, and any suggestions on any good cases that are readily available at retail (meaning CompUsa?)

They all work with that motherboard but the second CPU on that list is the best one to get. Its a 90nm winchester which are better for overclocking.

Yes, get the second one, Wichesters are much cooler and better for overclocking.

since your not ocing, i wouldn't worry too much about it. newcastle cores run hotter than the winchester's, but that only matters when it comes to overclocking or heavy usage. at stock speeds there should be no real difference in performance.

MSI Neo4 Platinum SLI
1GB of Corsair super low latency
eVGA 256MB pci Express 6800 GT
Antec Lanboy
Raptor 180GB

Im going to use it for gaming

Do you think its going to get too hot?

Only if you overclock can things get stupidly hot.

If you just use everything at stock... assuming all your fans are working, then eveything should be ok unless you live in a desert.
