This looks nifty for an alternate computers keyboard - something small and out of the way.

I cannot imagine not having a numpad on my main PC though - wish it didnt light up though - thats just stupid.

If you get the WK-620 it doesn't light up. But if you like to work, or play, in a low light situation, then the lighting is great.

There is a numeric keypad of sorts - press Numlock, and then the keypad becomes 7,8,9; u,i,o (for 4,5,6 - they are numbered in blue); j,k,l for 1,2,3; and then your )*,-,+,/ are to the right.

I just got this keyboard. It really looks great, and it was nice to get rid of my bulky MS Natural keyboard. The layout is superior to the EL-610 or WK-610.

Besides making your desk look a lot nicer, you can also pull your monitor a lot closer, especially if you have an LCD monitor.

The letter and number keys keys are full size. Some of the other keys are smaller than a normal keyboard. It definitely takes some getting used to. Since the keys are close together, it speeds things up a bit for me. But the spacebar is not as prominent, so you have to be more precise when you go for it.

If you want a small keyboard and you don't mind giving up the separate numeric keypad, then this is a great choice. If you want a numeric keypad, Zippy has other models for you.

Just be careful about the aluminum if that really matters to you.

There's nothing wrong with the aluminum, so nothing to be careful about. I think most people will prefer the contrast of the black bottom with the aluminum top. It sets it off. Some people find fault with everything. This is one item that doesn't give me any buyers remorse. It is slick.

This keyboard is very thin and light and it really looks nice, whether the light is on or not. It is not cheap looking and doesn't feel cheap or fragile. If you don't need a numeric keypad, this keyboard is quite ideal. The keys have a nice easy touch and bottom out nicely, except for the space bar, which takes more skill to use effectively.

It's much better looking than the pictures portray. In fact, it looks elegant.

The WK-620 model (without electroluminescence) has metallic-looking keys, but they are not aluminum.

The back-lighting makes it easy to read the keyboard under all conditions. Most people will definitely like it. It's aqua colored. One of the 5 switches at the top turns the light off and on.

If I used a PS2 adapter, would the lights still work? I'm just wondering if it gets juice for the lights from the usb port. Nice and small and I like the idea of the lit keys. The keyboard tray is kinda tucked under one of my desks and it makes it hard to see.

I don't have a PS/2 keyboard adapter. When I tried it with a PS/2 mouse adapter the light was on but the keyboard didn't work. I'm planning to get a PS/2 keyboard adapter but now you have me wondering if the light will work. I think it will since it worked with the mouse adapter.

Seems funny that the one with the number pad is actually $1 cheaper than the one without it. They do look nice though.
