Zip Drive Question

My zip drive is showing up just like a Hard Disk...IE in FDISK/Partition Magic, Device Manager, etc....is this normal....I dont seem to have any way of stopping it...
 
Thats one of the best features of a Zip as far as I am concerned. You can use it just like a Hard Drive that is load programs on a zip and run them from the Zip. Pretty nice if you just want to try out a prog for a while before you put it on your HD>
