Zip drive problem under Abit motherboard.

Does your board have the VIA 686B southbridge chipset? If so, you're pretty much hosed as far as getting a ZIP100 to work right. There is a patch at www.iomega.com and some have posted success with it. I personally had the patch destroy a Win98 install (Hosed Windows) 🙁 Only way I could get mine to work right was to put it on the Ultra ATA100 controller of my A7V133. Effectively eliminates me being able to use RAID, but it works. You could also possibly use an add-on ATA66/100 card to put it on.
