Hi,
I just bought a new Asus A7V133 mobo, but for some reason I could not use my Zip drive with it. It freezes the system when saving. The same have hapened with an Abit KT7A mobo, different zip drives and after switching all the other components. Is there any Zip Drive compatibility problems with the new chipset?
I would apreciate your help,
Pedro

This may be completely unrelated, but I had the same problem when I added a Zip 250 to my AOpen AX59 (MVP3) system. Disabling the IDE driver in the VIA 4-in-1 pack fixed it.

Seen lots of complaints from zip owners with problems re: this chipset. So far, no solution. Please note that some people are taking this out on Iomega, which is certainly misplaced anger. Iomega zips have been around for quite some time. Your answer needs to come from VIA, who needs to fix bios issues.
