zfs file storage question

I keep reading that zfs likes gobs of memory. I have a spare Celeron 220 system that can only have 1 gb of RAM. I'm planning a mirrored setup with two drives and nearly 0 workload. Should be, right?

i am thinking those specs are a lil low .

your going to have to do some researching on how to optimize that build for zfs. and i really do not think it is doable.
