I read your post before the edit by the way. You sound much more manly afterward.
;)

A couple more things:

1. I doubt you could pick up 130 pounds of anything. You should forget about throwing it anywhere.

2. That skinny dude has about the same amount of lean mass as you, it's just not buried beneath body fat. I don't mean that to sound snide.

Look at this troll, now taking the 'I'm doing this to push you' routine.

Predictable keyboard warrior from start to end. I'm done with your pissing contest. Now enjoy being the second member to my ignore list. You've earned it.

You can stop posting here now, I won't see it. You do it, we all know you're doing it out of spite. :)

This message is hidden because rga is on your ignore list.

That was easy.

I know it's been said, but eating less rice would likely help your weight loss cause. It's a pretty easy thing to tweak. I know it's not very traditional, but you could sub it for a fibrous vegetable at least.

Yes sir. In context, I've already cut a very significant amount. I would eat bowls and bowls of rice previously. Now I barely eat half a bowl all day. It's about a whopping 80% reduction already- daily.

It's funny how my body already adjusted. I feel very full from eating a third of a bowl.

That's a good start then. I know what rga has said may have come off with an edge that made it unpleasant, but what he says about strength training being more beneficial for weight loss is true. If that's your #1 goal, then you may want to think about re-working your plan. If you like running more than anything and you're less strict about your plan, then that's cool too. Just wanted to chime in a bit :)

Day 14

Exercise:

Lunch: Romane lettuce salad with chicken breast (XVOO), few bits of colby jack cheese, lots of lemon juice, a splash of balsamic vinegar.

Dinner:

We did some big grocery shopping finally. I bought 4 lettuce heads along with other veggies, and 5 lbs of chicken breast. Buying this much produce is something I don't normally do. Now I can focus on 'real' veggies + protein meals without grains.

Good stuff. I think I was both unclear and bit confused about my goals at start.

I don't have a particular desire to look super cut. And I agree that dropping weight for the sake of it isn't good (like that rga's kid).

I just want to be generally healthy, active, and lose some weight while gaining some muscle. My friend already noticed I slimmed a bit because:

- The workout made my shoulders and chest to bulge, directly hiding the tummy when wearing a shirt.

- I gain weight on my face first. I also seem to lose it first. While my weight is similar, my chin has noticeably gotten pointier.

- Whatever little muscle I may have gained, it's there, along with slightly less belly.

I still have long ways to go. I will continue to cut carb more, add more exercise, and run. Feels great and looking forward to more.

Good, just keep it up then. I'm always happy when people decide to get off their butts and challenge themselves with some activity so nice job.

Ran @ 35:38

Breakfast: 1 fried egg (XVOO)

Late Lunch: Korean BBQ (short ribs) with cucumber and lettuce and sweet pepper paste.

Snack: 1/2 small bag of pork rinds (no carb), a handful of almonds, sugar-free jello.

Dinner: Chicken breast with cucumber and mushrooms

My running time was more than a minute longer. I wonder if it's because it's my first time working out & running on same day. For the first time, running was hard because of fatigue in my muscles, not running out of breath. This marked my second full day without ANY carbs (unless from fiber). I've read carb gives you lots of energy. Maybe my body is going 'wtf' and making adjustments.

had some kbbq last night. so damn good. always end up smelling like it afterwards though. makes me want to eat myself lol.

KBBQ is a match made in heaven with rice. That sweet meat and fulfilling rice is perfect in your mouth...

First time I ate KBBQ without rice. I ate 2 cucumbers as a filler instead.

My tastebuds miss that hot steaming bowl of rice.. so carby and tasty the moment it hits the tongue.

It sucks cutting carb being an Asian.

well you could do the wrap thing. lettuce, meat, that weird brown sauce, consume.

lately i've been doing the costco turkey burgers and instead of buns I'll use some lettuce. A little ketchup + mustard and it tastes pretty damn good. I think they call it the bodybuilder at in n out.

Exercise: 35:30~

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 slice of cheese, sour cream. A handful of almonds

Late Lunch: Chicken breast, bean sprouts

Woke up with my knees sore, which kept me from having a good night's rest- it was similar to when I first ran back 20 days ago. Strange.

Yup. I did that.

Keto sucks donkey balls. I'm pretty miserable and irritable now (day 2.5). This will never be a lifestyle for me. I'm just taking advantage of it for the rapid weight loss for my friend's wedding next Saturday.

Why keto sucks (for me):

-It's expensive! This made me realize carb is so cheap and is a 50-60% filler of any meal (bread, pasta, rice, noodles, etc). Big heads of lettuce/broc disappears so fast in days.

-So much good stuff is off-the-limits: no milk (wtf i love milk), no cereal, no chips, no nothing.

-I don't NEED keto to look good. My first OP pic was achieved without any knowledge of keto. Just need proper portion control & exercise overrules.

Sorry for bitching, I'll get over it. I'll go back to low carb diet after next week.

Are you doing no dairy or no milk? I see you're still eating cheese and sour cream so I was wondering.

Also, I can't remember keto diets so well but if you're supposed to be avoiding sugar then you need to be careful with bbq.

Yea, no dairy. I guess little bit of sugar that comes in BBQ sauce and pepper paste can't be that bad, especially at the price of staying sane.

Day 20

Exercise: Pushups 15-15-15-12, Curls 20-20-20, Chin lifts 20-20-15

Breakfast: Left over pork bbq with mushrooms + cucumber, 1 boiled egg. 8~ chips of pork rinds (they suck).

Late Lunch: Chicken breast, 1 boiled egg

I guess I'm entering ketosis now because I'm thirsty as fvck. I'm constantly drinking water and pissing.

5/20/2013 (20 days, 175 lbs)
Third day in keto, lost 5 lbs- probably water weight. Here comes fat burning.

You'll know for sure when your breath smells like utter shit. My GF does keto and her breath smells so terrible. Good thing her body is amazing.

I understand. I'm just pointing out that you won't get the full benefits if you're not strict.

Zeze do you skip breakfast or dinner at times as you don't log it?

What is the weight loss at the moment?

Stay strong and if you really want to lose the fat YOU WILL LOSE THE FAT. Just be as strict as you can and keep your eyes on the GOAL.

I'm Cambodian and the funny thing is I have NEVER cooked rice at my house LOL. I only eat rice when I'm at my parents house. Just eat more steam veg and brocolli.

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/koing

Look at what I ate today. It has logs for the past 4 weeks since I started my cut. Look at last Saturday where I had a mini binge LOL. I'm going to refeed on rice every Sunday now that I've done 4 weeks already. Going to do low level fasted walking on non training days as well.
