Anyone bought this thing recently? The MIR form says to include not only the UPC code, but the serial number too. It says that the SN is shown in the example on the form, but there's no such thing.

On the box, there are two other numbers/codes under the UPC code. I cut out a large piece of the box that includes all 3 codes and this is what I am sending. Is there something I missed? There's no code on the box clearly listed as a "serial number".

Now, another question... Is this cooler reusable? The back side is glued on to the mobo, and I cant see how I'd go about using this cooler on another mobo if I wanted to.

Let's say I rip off the back plate off the mobo, but then I'd have to use epoxy next time. I don't want to do this, because that will be the last and final time I can ever use the heatsink. Any suggestions for using it several times on several mobos in the future??

PS: I highly recommend this heat sink to anyone and everyone. It's cheaper than the best and most famous out there, but cools just as good if not better. It's a bit too large, but easily clears the NB no matter which way I orient it. Fits my mobo - not an easy feat with most big heatsinks.
Only problem is that it blocks the ATX 12v connector on the mobo which makes it nearly impossible to connect the PSU cable after the heat sink is mounted and in place. I managed to do it anyway - don't ask me how. ;)

Get one of the Thermalright LGA775 mounting kits, it has a reusable backplate... I think.

OMG! I had no idea... Well this is my first aftermarket heatsink... I made a mistake.
I'd never imagine it would be this sticky. Not that big a problem I guess. I don't intend to remove the backplate any time soon. Not until my CPU is obsolete to an extent where it cant run modern games. By that time I'm betting I'll be able to upgrade the CPU and keep using same mobo with the same heatsink. And after the mobo becomes obsolete either I'll have enough $$$ to buy a new heatsink, or I'll be happy to pry the backplate off since I wont care about damaging the mobo.

 I did that with my first peel n' stick too, It was a PITA to remove but not impossible. Sounds like a good cooler. Good luck w/ the rebate!
