Maybe they should go after people who bring REAL guns to school and actually shoot people, and not freaking toys. This is ridiculous.

um....those people usually kill themselves or get killed by the police. even if the person was caught, being expelled from school would be the least of your worries.

What I mean is why don't they stop them before it happens. They seem to have the ability to stop people with toy guns or people drawing guns, why not actually put that energy towards stopping actual threats instead.

what do you mean stop people with toy guns or drawings of Guns? What are they going to do with them? most of these incidents are people forgetting they had a toy gun and turning them themselves in or just kids being kids, nothing malicious.

I think the best bet might be to pounce on the 'replica' aspect. If it was not designed to look exactly like a real weapon, it's not a replica.
That's exactly what I was thinking.

LOL..When I was in school everybody made gun racks in shop to stick in the back of their pickup truck.
I'd bet there was 100 or more guns just in the parking lot.
Funny thing, there weren't many school shootings back then.
There definitely were no mass school shootings.
That's not true. What there wasn't much of was 24/7 news reporting that resulted in needing to sensationalize stories so that they could give the reporters something to talk about & sell ads.

Didn't the kids in the movie Red dawn have guns in their pickups? Ahh the great 80's! What a wholesome decade. LOL!

My parents both attended high schools in Texas and have always said it was common for kids to have rifles in their trucks as well. Maybe it's a regional thing though.
