In a horrible tragedy last night, the Bullriding world was brought to its knees when hometown boy, Clint Ramsey, was fatally injured in a bullriding accident that is already being called the longest 8 seconds in history. Rodeo organizers have begun an investigation into the cause of the bull's rampage. Rodeo clown, Buck Henderson, was quoted as saying, "I couldn't imagine what set that Bull off like that. I have never seen a Bull go into the red zone that quickly. My heart goes out to his wife and 6 kids."

I feel bad for the family but seriously, it's like the Running of the Bulls. If you play with fire you're gonna get burned. It's like feeling bad for the family of a base jumper that fell to their death. It sucks....that their dad was dumb enough to do something like that.

So the pic isn't the rodeo vid. I saw it before I posted. I guess I figured no one would be dumb enough to make a story like this up. It isn't a parody or funny in any way. The pic is maybe a little funny but how does it enhance the joke of a fake news story...

bullriding is the most retarded "sport" i've ever seen on tv.

On espn they some sort of X-factor which rates each ride based on spinning and bucking. They have meters and everything. Its retarded.

Also the announcer one said "[bullsname] really knows this game, he knows what techniques work" Excuse me but no....its a bull.....the bull doesnt have the brain capacity to understand the "game" and strategize...the bull knows it is in pain and there is a jackass on its back and it wants to be left the fvck alone.

Actually bulls are rated. The higher rated bulls are worth more because they perform. When a rider gets on a bull, the higher rated ones are likely to give them a higher score, but at the same time they're more likely to get tossed. It's kinda like gambling. You want to go big, but not TOO big.

i never doubted that bulls were rated. But bulls don't perform better because they understand the game and can use reason to use certain tactics to perform better.
