Yeah, he started using that shitty ass theme of his around 5 episodes ago. I hate it.

You know, I normally like his reviews but I'm getting pretty sick of him bashing games without even touching the multiplayer. He bitched about how throws were enough to beat the cpu AI... but there's local AND online multiplayer he could have tried. He'd find pretty quickly that you can't win by throwing all the time against anybody who's played for more than an hour. Now I know I'm being biased here because I really like SC4 (first one I've played though) but he seems to be doing this a lot with games that shine in multiplayer.

its his thing, he finds something to bash and then he bashes it furiously. noone except "fanboys" takes his reviews seriously. and by fanboys i mean people who are fanboys of whatever he is bashing.
 
He says thing that are true, at least from the games I've played I've noticed that, but he takes it to such a level of exaggeration and sarcasm that it becomes funny and makes it seem like he is thrashing the game but really he is just making a storm in a glass of water. He has probably enjoyed many of the games he has thrashed and does it for the entertainment value.

You need to not view his videos as reviews. He's not trying to help you decide whether to buy a game, he's trying to make you laugh. He doesn't really hate all of the games he bashes. 😉 At least I hope not. He does point out genuine flaws in the games, but he makes them out to be much worse than they are.

Ah I meant just the multiplayer in general. Fighters are meant to be competitive and he didn't even bother in that aspect.

I wonder how much is for show and how much he really dislikes these games. I feel bad for the guy if his reviews have really turned him into this cynical guy who can't find anything fun anymore. I don't envy that at all if that's the case.

I guess it isn't a real review, but still...

His reviews didn't make him cynical, shitty games did.
 
He used to be funny, but now he just bashes games for trying to make money while he himself seems like he has sold out in many ways.

And that isn't funny.

He doesn't like multiplayer. He has said this in some of his other videos. Since he doesn't like multiplayer, it's a lot easier to take his bashing of multiplayer-focused games with a grain of salt because he is really only playing the singleplayer content. And he's always spot-on regarding the singleplayer content 😛
