That about sums it up. As much as I wanted to like it because of nostalgia, I just didn't find the game enjoyable for the reasons that he listed. I got lost looking for the fisherman ghost on the first level, and I just stopped caring. Glad I rented it.

I didn't think the game was that bad, especially the discount $30 price on the PC. Sure, it lacked multiplayer, but I wasn't going to play it anyway.
Not a must-have game, but neither is just about every EA game or movie based game.

I find that EA games feel a lot more worth it when they hit the <$20 range. Examples: Battlefield:BC, Mirror's Edge, Army of Two...

Also of note... is there any recent non-Sports EA title that doesn't have the good 'ole "Collect 30 hidden Gold Stashes/Runner's Bags/Intel Briefcases"?
