I have a great pair of prescription sunglasses that I got from Zenni 2 years ago. They were shipped from California. I recently ordered a pair of regular glasses from them and it shows they were shipped from Hong Kong, but I haven't received them yet.

Has anyone else gotten their glasses from Zenni that were shipped from Hong Kong? Were they the same quality as the ones from California (Maybe even better?)? Just a little curious.....

Thanks,

Bob

You know, I've ordered from them a few times, but I'll be damned if I can remember where any of them shipped from.

I do have another shipment coming in a week or two, so I'll try to remember this time :p

I think all their glasses are from the East. Those from CA actually were made in Asia but bulk shipped to CA then sorted and sent out.

OK, that does make sense, woodie1. Will post a follow up when they arrive in a few days and rate the quality.

Mine just arrived today, and quality seems fine. They're a bit snug, but some adjustment is expected.

I went for the $4.95 anti-glare, and so far, it seems like it was worth it, especially when you consider I only paid $8 for the glasses themselves. I can definitely tell a difference between my old glasses and these ones when I look at a light fixture.

I'm about to order my first pair from either Zenni or another place, but how would you adjust them when you get them? By yourself or take them to a local shop?

I just go into a Walmart, Shopko, Lenscrafter, etc. and ask for an adjustment. Sometimes they'll ask if you bought them there, I just say no, and they say they can't warranty them, but they'll adjust them.

The ones I just got are great. They were shipped from Hong Kong, and everything is just right. I had to adjust them, but I just use some boiling water to heat the earpieces up and they bend real nice :)

I got 1/2 rimmed titanium frames, bifocal lenses with the anti-glare for $42 shipped. You just cannot beat them!!

Yeah, the exact pair my daughter wanted at the optometrist's office for $120 was less than $20 from Zenni.

I got glasses from Zenni Optical for the first time back in January. Good purchase, and soooo much cheaper. Mine were shipped from Hong Kong. Took two weeks to arrive.
